Aleksandar Mitrovic, a professional Serbian football player, plays as a striker for the Fulham EFL Championship club and the Serbian national team. In 2005, he started playing football with the Partizan youth team. After a loan from Teleoptik, he became a professional footballer and helped the team win the Serbian SuperLiga his first season.
He joined Anderlecht on 30 August 2013 for a club record of EUR5 million. In his two-season spell, he scored 44 goals in all competitions. His first season saw him win the Belgian Pro League and his second saw him become the league’s top scorer. He moved to Newcastle United on 21 July 2015 for PS13 million. After helping Fulham to rise to the Premier League, he was loaned out to Fulham. He joined Fulham permanently on 31 January 2018.
He has represented Serbia at different age levels on the international stage. He represented Serbia at the U19, U21 and senior levels.
