Jon Heder was born on 26 October 1977 in Fort Collins, Colorado USA. He is a native of Sweden. Heder, a 43-year-old actor, and producer best known for his roles as Clark Reedy in “Napoleon Dynamite”, (2006) and Oskar Greason’s voice in “Star Vs.” The Forces of Evil (2015-2019).

Early life

Jon Heder was born in Fort Collins and grew up with his twin brother Dan. Heder was raised by his father James Heder, a doctor, and Helen Heder, his mother. He has an older brother, Doug, and an elder sister, Rachel.

He also has two younger brothers, Adam and Matt. Jon is Canadian and belongs to the White Caucasian ethnicity group. He is also a Christian.

Education Background

Jon Heder, a two-year-old boy, moved to Salem, Oregon with his family. Jon attended Walker Middle School and South Salem High School. He graduated in 1996. Jon was also a member of the drama club and the swim team while he was there.

He was an Eagle Scout and would become a Scoutmaster in 2010. After matriculation, he was accepted into Brigham Young University, Provo, Utah to study 3D animation. He speaks fluent Japanese.

Jon Heder was the voice of Wilmer in the animated sci-fi action movie “Bling” and Hubert, in the animated film “Bobby The Hedgehog”. Jon then landed the roles of Alex Womack and Louis in the comedy-thriller “Ghost Team” in 2016.

Jon then portrayed Harrison in the comedy short “Gloria Talks Funny”, and later guest-starred on TV shows such as “VeggieTales In The City”, “All Hail King Julien”, and “Critical Role”.

He voiced the voice of Stretch Armstrong in “Stretch Armstrong and The Flex Fighters” animated series on Netflix between 2017-2018.

Jon voiced Master Dan in the English version Chinese animated film “The Ladybug”, and played various roles in “Sunshine Brownstone”, a short animated comedy film. Both films were released in 2018. He also landed the role of the title in the comedy-drama “When Jeff Tried To Save The World” that year.

He was most recently seen as Jimmy in the 2020 direct-to-video monster film “Tremors, Shrieker Island”. He will play Edwin Jones in “Killing Winston Jones”, a dark comedy film that is currently in production.

He will also be playing Behemoth in “RelativelySuper”, a made-for-TV animated movie, and Charlie in ” Funny Things About Love”, a romantic comedy film that is currently in post-production.

Personal Life

Jon Heder is married. He met his future wife Kirsten Bale while he was studying at Brigham Young University. The couple exchanged their wedding vows in November 2002. Their first child, Evan Jane Heder (22 May 2007), was their fourth child.

The couple had their second child two years later, a son called Philip Heder. Their third child, Timothy Heder, was also born in 2014. Their fourth child, a girl whose name is not known, was born in 2014.

Jon and Kirsten Bale are members of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints. Saints. Jon and Kirsten Bale are currently located in Santa Clarita (California).
