Mark Margolis was born in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania USA on 26th November 1939, under the Sagittarius zodiac.

He is the son of a Polish Jewish immigrant father and a Russian Jewish mother. He was raised as Jewish by Isidore and Fanya Margolis. After high school matriculation Mark attended Temple University. However, he didn’t complete his studies and moved to New York City where he studied acting with Stella Adler. He also joined The Actors Studio.
